1.1 Questions about flash main-frames and sub-frames... (Strongly recommend to read)

Question: We are evaluating your product to see if it would be useful to us before purchasing it. We very much need this converter. However, we are challenged. We are trying to convert from swf to avi. The swf version of the file seems to work fine. Your software converts it with no errors, but does not display it correct.
The general makeup of the flash file is there is one frame in the main scene with a background image; Movie Symbol is placed on the scene that has items moving across the screen using a motion tween (from off one edge, across off the other edge). However, the avi only displays the background image and does not show the items moving across. Best I can tell is the avi is starting and ending in the last frame. Do you have input on this. Your help is appreciated. We really need a software like this one.

Thanks,
Dave Hirsch

Answer: I think your swf file is a "Single Frame" swf file, it means your swf file have only one frame or several frames, we called these "Main-frames", but many "Sub-frames" include in every Main-frame.Only main-frames number is recorded in a swf file, so our application only can get the main-frames number as the default converted frames. For example, your swf file have one background frame, and have 100 frames include in the background frame to show the Movie Symbol moving across, in this case, our application set the "Export frames" as "Export from 1 to 1", but in fact, your swf file have 100 frames, so you should set it as "Export from 1 to 100" manually.

1.2 Sometimes video and audio is not sync each other in the result video file, how to fix it?

Question: I am converting a 12.5M swf file created with Macromedia Captivate to AVI.
I am not talking about a gap of a few seconds between audio and video. The problem is that the video out put is 3-4 times faster than the original. It is like it is running on fast forward. The audio out put is fine. If I can solve this problem I will be happy to purchase your software.

Thanks!
Maya

Answer:
(1) The synchronization result of video and audio is highly depend on the computer performance. For example, your swf file framerate is 30fps, but the actual framerate maybe only 25fps if your computer performance is bad, this will cause synchronization problems. In this case, please check the "Automatically synchroniz video and audio" checkbox in the "Audio Settings" tab to fix the problems.
(2) If it is only a gap of a few seconds between audio and video, you can fix it by checking the "Manually synchroniz video and audio" checkbox and set how many seconds you will move the audio forward or backward.
(3) Sometimes, the streaming audio in flash movie will cause the out of sync problem. To get the best result, we suggest to change the streaming sound to event sound, and disable the "Audio Streaming" setting in the Publish Setting Dialog Box when you export flash to swf.

1.3 No sound in the converted video file, what's the wrong?

Question: Hi, I have the demo version of you software and would like to purchase a license but I cannot get the audio to come through on the conversion.

Thank you,
John

Answer: Your sound card must support "Full Duplex" so our program can records the audio of swf file directly from the system's waveform device. (Most of sound cards do support) And you must select the waveform device as the recording source. Please follow the steps for troubleshooting:
(1) In the "Audio Settings" tab of "Settings" form, press "Advanced" button to open Windows System Recording Control setting window.
(2) In the Recording Control, make sure the Waveform device(or "Stereo Mixer", "Wave out Mix" or other alike device name) is checked. And adjust the recording volume by the dragging slider.
(3) Launch the Windows Recorder Program and try to record system sound. You may make beep sound by left clicking on the small speaker icon of the system tray and adjust the volume.
(4) If the Windows Recorder can successfully record the system sound, then our program can work normally.

1.4 We're getting a buzzing sound while playing the result video file, why?
Question: We're getting a buzzing sound when we attempt to convert a swf to an avi. We've tried a variety of export settings, nothing seems to correct the problem. We're using XP on a Toshiba Satellite Pentium 4 3.20GHZ with 448 MB Ram 8 gb free on a 12 GB drive.

Gil Amaro

Answer: I think the "Microphone" device maybe checked in your Recording Control. In the Recording Control, please make sure the Waveform device(or "Stereo Mixer", "Wave out Mix" or other alike device name) is checked. Please see the previous question's answer for the details. No sound in the converted video file, what's the wrong?

1.5 What is the difference between PRO and LITE?

Question: I have a few questions but one is... I would like to evaluate the lite version of the program, but when trying to download it, I'm getting the pro version. Is the lite version available for download?
Second question... With the lite version: is it possible to control the avi resolution, frame rate etc..?
Third question... When creating a DVD MPG the resulting file is a (not surprisingly) an MPG. How do I get that into a format that will play on a DVD player? Do I not have to convert it to a VOB file? What is the advantage with that MPG file if it will not play in a DVD player?

Best Regards,
Andy Staniszewski

Answer:
(1) Yes! Please send us email, we will offer you the LITE version download link.
(2) Yes!
(3) No! The LITE version don't support converting swf to DVD format. You must use the PRO version to convert swf to DVD format.
(4) Please visit the features page to get detail difference between PRO and LITE.
